Here's a suggestion I'd like to see the IAU adopt - lets change the cringe-worthy name 'Uranus' to Ouranos.
Why? Partly because of the asinine jokes using Uranus - generally pronounced stressing as in "y'r anus" - a "joke" that wore out long ago - Sigh - although I've also heard it mangulated into something sounding like "Urine-us" which is not much of an improvement.
But also because Ouranos is more accurate in terms of the Greek word for the sky-god the planets meant to be named for - Uranus is a semi-romanised form of the original Greek god Ouranos - equivalent of the Roman god Chronos, father of Zeus [Jupiter] and the Titans, former ruler of the greek pantheon cast down by Zeus for swallowing his children.
As the only planet named after a Greek instead of Roman god it seems a good idea to give Ouranos its "proper" Greek name rather than a half-Romanised form of it. Besides, just think one day our grandchildren or greatgrandchildren may just possibly actually live in colonies there. Would they want to live around something that makes everyone giggle or groan on hearing its name and derivatives?
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
